What's this group about?

The group is based on the New York Times bestseller, which has sold over three million copies and is translated into over 30 languages.

Whether you want your child to eat more vegetables, listen with empathy to their anger, or understand why they don't want to brush their teeth: this group can help. Together we will learn how to talk so your kid will listen, and listen so your kid will talk.

We'll work, talk, and listen for one and a half hours in a safe space, with a radical focus on acceptance, understanding and support.

You'll learn:

  • basic empathy skills
  • mindfulness tips to nurture your calm
  • how to manage strong emotions and problem solving techniques
  • self-reflection practices to understand your own values and triggers

We will meet seven Tuesdays in a row (April 23-June 4), 10:30-12:00 pm, in person in central Austin. Exact location will be sent out upon RSVP. Kayla asks $195 for the series.
